It probably goes without saying, but we here at Happy Fun Racing are somewhat into Trek Bikes. Though they have an excellent track record for design, quality, price, and customer service, ultimately, we have fun on our Trek cycles. For this reason, and a few others, we tend to root for Trek-based teams throughout the season. Some of our favorite athletes; Batty, Cancellara, Schlecksquared and Jensie all ride the same stuff. So, while there seems to be much hate as of late regarding the newest offering from Trek, we took the liberty of shamelessly nuthugging our favorite team's kit.
All joking aside, at first glance, we don't see anything wrong with this layout! Seriously. What's not to like: Satin Black, Strong lines, WHITE HUBS! This bike looks like it might tear someone's face off, and honestly, that is pretty neat. As you can also see from the topmost picture, the kit looks unreal on-bike. The lines are retro, strong, and a nice combination of Shack, Pard, and Livestrong.
All in all, we look forward to seeing these kits this year, and we'll definitely be rooting for those who are wearing them. Maybe there is a bit of bias on our part, because we would probably cheer for this team even if they wore nothing at all (I'm sure some would like that more than others). Bottom line, at least our Shackpard heroes won't be lighting up forums with "white-shorted sausage" rants this year. Thank god.
